Growing up in a single-parent household as the oldest of six children—including two sets of twins—I learned early on what it means to work hard and look out for family. We lived in three different housing projects, but I literally ran my way to a better future, earning a track scholarship to Central State University in Ohio, where I earned my degree. My journey took me from those neighborhoods to working as a high-level U.S. Senate staffer, and later building a technology company as an ethical entrepreneur. Now, as a father of two, my family’s future is rooted right here in Colorado. I’m running to make our state affordable and to bring progressive, solution-oriented leadership to our State.

That is why my campaign is focused on the real, everyday challenges we face. I have a plan for housing and universal child care—two essential pillars that can truly transform the lives of our families. When we address housing and make child care accessible, we give our neighbors the stability they need to thrive. This isn’t about politics; it’s about looking out for one another and ensuring our community remains a place where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
